After another annoying run in with the Jibber-Jabbers I needed to refresh my magical supplies. However, fate had other plans for me because it appears the most recent shipment of my much needed supplies has been stolen and not only will this disrupt my magic but the Arcane Beaker might have to close it’s doors. And as if that was not troubling enough they were on the wrong side of Elweir for bandits and they were reports of blue lighting ugh another mage but at least this was just one of his apprentices and not Barius himself. So after convincing the rest of the party to go along, Raganash Volthar made a statement that they had to be within a week of Elweir just two problems one how does he think he knows this and two a week in what direction the only thing we had to go on was that they were not in Elweir and in fact had intentionally avoided Elweir.
Aliella Gyneth was able to make herself useful and found the river trolly captain who had taken them across the river and then we chased them down and after the first day I tried to find out just how far ahead they were because we had been unable to find out from travelers coming from the other direction. All may efforts did however was alert them to our presence. Because they greatly increased their speed and the next day we were forced to hunker down from a massive storm at the Wickshine’s Inn. Latter Fiona was able to lead us to a good ambush site where we set our trap for them.
Raganash Volthar and I set up a log to block off the bridge where Lierin and Raganash Volthar were going to engage them while [:fiona | Fiona]] provided archers support the log and dispatching the guards went fine the archery had some trouble. I used my magic to help in the rescuing of the shipment however a slight backfire prevented me from assisting fully (I need to find a master to finish my training) it did however, prevent me from being awed by her magic. [[:aliella-gyneth | Aliella Gyneth] threw some smoke and flash potions to some effect. Lierin knocked one of the Amyklai off their horse (that I later bought) and into the water and took his horse captive and the mule with the supplies we needed. I tried to capture the mage however, she was able to escape my grasp and flee. After we got away and went to a farm with whose family Fiona had become attached to. It was their that I discovered the real reason for hijacking the shipment instead of an albino horse bone their was a Benthara bone a tool that would make a necromancer far more powerful. The folks who run the Arcane Beaker were most grateful to our efforts.
